Who We are and what we do......
We are a small independent, owner operated business based in Benoni (GP, South Africa). We specialise in Drain Cleaning and sewer repair/replacement, using high tech state of the art equipment. We specialise in the repair and the resurrection of broken sewer systems by re-lining and pipe bursting.
We started trenchless pipe replacement in 2006. Although it was already in South Africa, it was only used for large pipe systems using very large and expensive equipment. There were a number of smaller systems available in the USA, Germany and the UK for domestic sized pipes but on enquiry these were prohibitivly expensive to import.
We started to develop our own locally made equipment in Benoni in 2006 and after a fairly steep learning curve and a few notable mistakes we have eventually got to the point where under building pipe replacement is all but routine.
Our primary market for this is the replacement of "fibre pitch" sewer pipes discussed elswhere..
We are also able to provide general plumbing services like the repair of burst pipes, broken valves, geysers, taps etc.
This Web Site.....
Started off as a single page and then sort of grew like topsy :-). It may often be a tad difficult to navigate and may appear to unstructured and unplanned - guilty as charged. I am not a web site designer - I fix sewerage systems but I do have a bit of experience in IT going back many years. What I am trying to do with this web site is provide as much general plumbing (and other) information as possible. It helps my potential customers to understand their problems better and by the time I get involved the customer has already attended to the basics that he could do himself. I don't feel good when I get called out to fix a blocked shower rose filter or tighten a gland and have to charge for it :-)

I will generally answer questions directed to me within a couple of days. I can only deal with South African issues though - I don't know anything about American, Russian or Indian plumbing conventions or regulations! If you are in a foreign country I would love to hear from you but I cant help you!
I will provide my opinion on "general" questions free of charge - if you need specific/detailed information on a particular problem that is going to cause me to work then I will do it, but you will have to pay me a mutually agreed sum of money for my time. This is particularly so if I have to consult with others or you are one of my competitors!
